MOLECULAR
MUTATIONS
An experiential show done as a marketing strategy for Jordan’s Jungle, a Providence based plant store. I was asked to help with their sales amongst college students and decided to find a way to make them connect with plants on a deeper level. By visualizing the chemical reactions taking place every second within plants , I aimed to deepen the audience's grasp on how alive they really are. Through the data points collected, I generated an interactive artwork and projected it in space to transform their shop into a living canvas.

EXECUTION
I coded a dynamic generative artwork that synchronized shapes on screen with data from the plants, responded to cursor movement and reset to a molecular form each time. This visual was projected onto the plants for an engaging depiction. I also created a branding system that reflected the fluidity of the show spatially through 3D modeled shapes, type and layout.
